Waitrose is to feature a new exclusive range from chef Yotam Ottolenghi. The range will include spice mixes, pasta sauces and shawarma marinade, and is Ottolenghi’s first venture onto supermarket shelves.
The full range will be available from 29th April in Waitrose shops, Waitrose.com and Ottolenghi.co.uk, and a selection of products will be shoppable via Waitrose on Deliveroo and UberEats.
Charlotte Di Cello, Commercial Director for Waitrose, said: “We know how much our customers love the food and flavours of Ottolenghi. With extraordinary quality and taste being central to both our brands, we are excited to be able to bring Ottolenghi to homes nationwide with this exclusive range.”
Yotam Ottolenghi said: “Ottolenghi to the masses… Well, not quite, but I have always been super eager to get our flavours onto people’s dinner plates nationwide, not just in London, without having to cook it from scratch every single time.”
In preparation for the launch Waitrose research found searches on Waitrose.com for Middle Eastern recipes page were up 203% compared to last year. To mark the launch, the range will be on an introductory 20% off offer from the 29th April-18th June.
