Aldi has invested a further £100m to cut the price of 330 products, helping to support families through the school holidays.
These latest cuts mean that Aldi has reduced the price of over 1,000 products so far this year, representing a total investment of £300m in keeping grocery bills as low as possible.
Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “It’s never been more important that everyday grocery essentials and family favourites remain affordable. We’re committed to keeping prices low on popular products because we know it can make a real difference, helping families to make the most of the summer.”
As part of Aldi’s wider commitment to supporting families, the supermarket recently announced the return of its Summer Support Scheme, giving away £50 shops to families every day throughout July and August.
Aldi has been named Which? Cheapest Supermarket for five years running and for eight consecutive months, even when competitors’ loyalty prices are included.
