Clarks shoes have a new promotional film for its iconic Wallabees. Titled “Sunset: Manchester – a love letter to the rave”, the promo film is set today and back in the rave era and joins the dots between the past and the present. Shot and directed by Glenn Kitson, the film follows mates on a night out in the present and the past, meeting up and making their journey to the club.
The film stars Chris Coghill, Jodie Reynolds, Antonio Tapusoa, Robbie Conway, Josie Almond, Celine Mai, Darren Partington, and featuring Luke Una, the resident narrator by day, DJ by night.
“Sunset: A Clarks In Manchester Film” also showcases Manchester underground music from across the generations.
Commenting on the film, Kitson said, “for this project we wanted to explore rave culture, especially up north. It was important to join the dots between the past and the present and to show how echoes of the past are just as relevant with the youth of today.”
