Samsung’s comeback response to the Apple Crush! – Ad of the Day 17th May

Samsung has created a new advert in response to Apple’s disastrous “Crush!” advert, which rather than illustrating the iPads ability to store huge amounts of data, instead seemed to show how art – and the tools of artists – are being crushed by the tech company.

The 40 second Samsung advert entitled “Creativity cannot be crushed” was produced by BBH USA with filmmaker Zen Pace in just seven days. The advert features a woman salvaging a crushed guitar from the Apple advert and using a Samsung Galaxy tablet learns to play the instrument.

“More than a response, this is a celebration of all creative souls. True artists, makers and creators know that creativity always finds a way,” said Estefanio Holtz, executive creative director BBH USA, in an emailed statement.
