Bringing Joy To Seasonal Sweaters
Brain injury charity Style For Stroke continues its strong history of fashion collaborations to raise awareness for stroke with the launch of a new collection entitled ‘Jumpers For Joy!’ with sustainable knitwear brand FUND Jumpers.
The new collection is inspired by 90’s video game culture and jumpers come in bright bold colours with embroidered slogans in contrasting red, pink, yellow, blue, green and black, that will spark joy in all! The collection is entirely bespoke so you can choose your own jumper, colour and slogan statement in any colour combination, tailored to your preferred look. Slogans include the following phrases: ‘Turn It Into Love’, ‘New Day’, ‘Joy!’, ‘Love Life’, ‘Love’ and ‘Joy Club’.
Jumpers will retail at £165 and be available in sizes XS, S, M, L and XL at www.FUNDjumpers.com. Jumpers are weaved, embroidered and hand-finished in England using the finest luxury yarns – 100% British Lambswool and Embroidery. All profits from the sale of jumpers will go to Style For Stroke Foundation, which this year will be supporting Hollywood actress Emilia Clarke’s brain injury charity Same You, and InterAct Stroke Support, which uses professional actors to deliver stimulating readings in person, in stroke units and hospitals, to support those with brain injury and aid their recovery. Along with Emilia Clarke will be a whole host of celebrities supporting the ‘Jumpers For Joy!’ campaign including: Kylie Minogue, Laura Whitmore, Naomie Harris, Kimberly Wyatt, Nicola Roberts, Denise Van Outen, Kimberley Walsh, Gaby Roslin, Dame Arlene Phillips, Eva Longoria, Nicole Scherzinger and more.
Nick Ede founder of Style For Stroke says: “This year I wanted to really look at creating a collection that will last more than one season, and bring joy and create a conversation. Collaborating with Rachael and FUND Jumpers has allowed me to bring together bold and beautiful colours with statements of positivity to create a collection which will bring joy, style and happiness into everyone’s wardrobe! Stroke is the leading cause of disability in the UK and still really not talked about. I hope that this stylish collection brings joy to people, but also creates conversation and highlights that stroke and brain injury can affect anyone, anywhere at any time.”
Rachael Howard founder of Fund Jumpers added: “I started FUND with a simple mission – to do good and have fun doing it. I believe that fashion should be fun but also meaningful, and that it should be made to last a lifetime so that each jumper becomes an heirloom of the future, an investment in ourselves. Nick and I designed the range to bring joy into people’s lives and to celebrate bold self-expression in a new and playful way. Creating stories through stitches and supporting the tireless work of this amazing charity. It’s not about being fashionable it’s about standing for something you believe in.”
The Style For Stroke x FUND ‘Jumpers For Joy!’ Collection will be available online from 25th September 2023 at www.fundjumpers.com

About Style For Stroke:
The Style For Stroke
Foundation assists in the treatment and care of persons suffering from mental or physical illness caused by a stroke or in need of rehabilitation as a result of such illness. In particular –
To promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of strokes through the provision of financial assistance to sufferers and the organisations which support them.
To advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to strokes.
Every year the foundation invites charities and individuals concerned with stroke to apply for grants from the money raised. Operating in this way allows the foundation to help charities both large and small – many of the small organisations rely on donations such as these to keep them going. We intend to continue to do this. Any charity concerned with stroke is entitled to apply for a grant.
One third of our annual profit will be donated to the Stroke Association and InterAct Stroke Support to assist in medical research on stroke and its prevention.
